These tubes are made of premium polystyrene for enhanced transparency, or polypropylene for improved impact resistance and stability against common acids, alkalis, and solvents. Polystyrene tubes can withstand speeds up to 1500 RPM during centrifugation. Polypropylene tubes can withstand speeds up to 3000 RPM and are autoclaved and frozen.
